While I was working on this piece, I got an email from one of our MICA illustration alum, Michael Owen, if I want to donate a piece to the themed art auction "Innovate Love." I thought this image pretty match up with their theme, so I quickly finished the painting and shipped the "hang ready" piece today. The event will be held up in Silo Point's $4mil penthouse(!!!) on May 22. Shame that I can not be at the event; however, it's all for good thing to help the baltimore city :D

noticing that I didn't do much black and white drawings that I changed the plan of this work from watercolor to b&w ink drawing. Forgot to shade the balloon...I retouch them in photoshop. hmm...i'm pretty satisfy with the pattern :D
